Meet the Doctor

Dr. Yentzer graduated Magna Cum Laude from LaSalle University in Philadelphia. He obtained his medical doctorate from Jefferson Medical College, and then completed his residency training in dermatology at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. While at Wake Forest, Dr. Yentzer completed an additional clinical research fellowship in dermatology, and has successfully published numerous papers.

Dr. Yentzer has won several awards, and has given multiple lectures at national and international dermatology conferences.

After his training, Dr. Yentzer moved to Oregon where he practiced for a few years until he met his wife. The couple then decided to move to the Finger Lakes region, where they intend to live out their years together.

In his free time, Dr. Yentzer enjoys many outdoor activities, including hiking, ultimate frisbee, and swing dancing. Dr. Yentzer also runs a small organic farm with his wife: thirstyfruitfarm.com

carbon neutral

Environmental stewardship

Dr. Yentzer is a strong advocate for protecting our environment. In an effort to reduce his carbon footprint, the new Finger Lakes Dermatology building has been designed to achieve a net zero energy consumption. This is accomplished through a combination of high efficiency HVAC, superior insulation, and a SunPower solar array. To encourage his patients to drive electric cars, Dr. Yentzer has also installed a level 2 EV charger in his parking lot. We all must do our part to help preserve this planet for the next generation!

Medical students and
physicians-in-training

Dr. Yentzer believes in passing on his knowledge of dermatology to the next generation. As such, you will frequently see students shadowing him in clinic. While you have every right as a patient to ask to be seen without a student or other physician present, we hope that you see the value of training. Most of our patients actually tell us that they too learn a great deal about their condition just by listening to Dr. Yentzer teach his students.
